Baby Kora and Snow!!

It has been a while since I last posted anything...I've been a little busy :) We welcomed baby Kora Lynn Meyer on Monday December 8, th at 7:48pm. She is absolutely beautiful and we are loving every minute of getting to know her. Cody is the best Dad in the world like I knew he would be and I can just tell that she is going to be a little daddy's girl. Here are a few pictures of her as well as the house in the first snow this winter...who would of thought we would be trucking through snow to get to church for the first time when Kora is just 6 days old!?! What fun though! Thank you everyone for all your thoughts and prayers during this time, we are very appreciative.

Progress on the House

Here are a few updated photos of the house. Since my last picture updates we have completed getting the front porch and walkway in and most of the siding. This weekend my project is to get more flowers planted and Cody is going to work on getting more siding done.

23 Weeks!

For those of you who have been asking, here is finally a belly shot. Tomorrow I will be 23 weeks along. Baby girl and I are doing really well. I started to feel her kicks last week and Cody has even been able to feel them as well! She is growing! We are starting to get things set up for her little corner of our master bedroom, I will try and post pictures when that starts to get more developed.

The House Project

Many of you are aware that for the last 10 months Cody and I have been rebuilding a house that Cody purchased just over a year ago. The house was in pretty bad shape and needed a complete overhaul. During that process we also decided to add an addition to the back of the house to give us more room. This has been a project that has consumed our lives these past 10 months and we are excited to be at the ending stages of phase 1. (And yes, this does mean that there is a phase 2 to the project...more details to come.)

We have many people to thank for all their hard work and the hours that they have given us a helping hand. We feel SO very blessed by our friends and family who care about us enough to walk side by side with us as we prepare our first home together. THANKS!!! Here are a few pictures to get you caught up.
